This recipe has an interesting mix of flavors which is what drew my to it in the first place. However, for me it didn't really work. The honey and sea salt were ok but not that great and the recipe wasn't clear on the sizes of the chocolate chunks and mine ended up being too big. Given that this is a no churn recipe it doesn't need a machine so there wasn't much time wasted which is good and means you can whip this up (no pun intended but I'll take it) in a short time if you'd like to try it.
Yield ~ 1.5 litres / 1.5 quarts
Prep time: 20 mins + 6 hours freezing
My rating: 3/5

The 'no churn' method is great for occasional batches but if you want to get serious about your ice cream making I suggest you invest in an ice cream maker designed for home use.
The two ice cream makers I recommend are the Cuisinart ICE-70 and the Breville BCI600 XL. Click the images below to read more about those two machines or check out my complete guide to ice cream makers to see all the options and read the pros and cons of each.

Notes
- The recipe directs us to 'chop' the chocolate and the name suggests they should be 'chunks' but this isn't a good way to go because they'll be too big to eat properly. I suggest grating your chocolate or creating stracciatella pieces to distribute through the ice cream
