This is one of my favorite ice cream flavors and has been very well received by everyone I've given it to over multiple batches. There's something about the sharp citrus flavor that hits the taste buds and leaves you wanting more. This is a no churn recipe that doesn't need a machine and is pretty easy to put together with only a few ingredients and no cooking required. It's interesting to note that the author chose to sweeten with powdered sugar rather than sweetened condensed milk which is normal for no churn recipes. Not sure if there was a specific reason for this or just their preference. These citrusy flavors (including lemon) are more commonly associated with gelato so its a nice change to have it in ice cream so you get the sharp flavor as well as the rich creaminess.

The 'no churn' method is great for occasional batches but if you want to get serious about your ice cream making I suggest you invest in an ice cream maker designed for home use.
The two ice cream makers I recommend are the Cuisinart ICE-70 and the Breville BCI600 XL. Click the images below to read more about those two machines or check out my complete guide to ice cream makers to see all the options and read the pros and cons of each.

Notes
- I used 'icing sugar' as that is what we have here in Australia and it worked fine. There's some discrepancy online as to whether this is the same as powdered sugar but they seem to be fairly similar
- When incorporating the juices into the cream be sure to mix thoroughly for proper distribution as the different consistencies between the juices and the whipped cream means they don't mix easily. However, you also need to be careful not to over whip your cream
